Pump Controller: Choosing the Appropriate Motor Control System for your Pump

When it comes to build an energy-efficient pumping system, the selection of the right motor control system is necessary for your pump.

Pump controllers are designed to monitor flow and/or level variables and control the connected pump accordingly to efficiently maintain the levels. Considering the need for farmers, C&S Electric introduces a smart pump controller that has been designed using modern technologies to save energy and time – helping farmers lead a better quality of life. This newest addition to the already extensive line of C&S pump panels has been manufactured especially for the agricultural industry. The pump controller is a perfect fit for irrigation and similar pumping applications.

The Smart pump controller having a remote pump ON/OFF facility using SMS, IVRS and Missed-Call based on the model. Smart controller panel monitors the pump parameters like phase-phase voltage, current, kW, kWh, power factor etc. This smart controller panel protects the pump motor from overload, dry run, phase unbalance, current unbalance, phase fail, rotor lock etc. All these parameters’ daily log makes it useful to monitor the efficiency and power consumption of the pump motor.

Smart pump controller has a facility of four real-time based ON/OFF timers; and the dry run auto-start timer. This is a very useful facility for farmers as there is no need to START/STOP the pump motor manually.

Smart pump controller has the facility to add/delete its user via SMS, so that registered users can START/STOP remote pump and also get present running status of the pump.

Smart pump controller has a unique facility of motor theft detection. This panel monitors the motor terminals continuously. If anyone of the motor terminals is removed, an alert SMS is sent to the user. If this panel is shifted from the installed location, an alert SMS is sent to the user with the LAT/LNG position of the panel.
